2006 National Bar-B-Que Festival
I attended the National BBQ Festival in Douglas, Georgia this weekend.
I am a member of th Firefly's Bar-B-Que competition team and we competed in both the "Best of the Best" on Friday and the "Cooking on the Green" competition on Saturday. We didn't do so well this time, but we had a great time anyway.
Firefly's entered three sauces in the Sauce competition and took 5th place in Sweet Tomato Based with their Memphis Sauce and, 2nd Place in the Spicy Tomato based with their Beelzebar sauce and 10th place with their Dixie Kiss. For a full listing of results click here
